Sovereignty over the Paracel and Spratly Islands
By: Monique Chemillier-Gendreau

Both archipelagos form part of four groups of coral islands scattered over the South China Sea.
The other two (Pratas Island and Macclesfield Bank) are not the subject of any dispute over sovereignty.
The archipelagos sprawl over a sea bounded by many territories. China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei and the Philippines form a crown around it. These lands have little in the way of a continental shelf. The exceptions are China, and to a lesser extent Vietnam, especially south-west Vietnam. The Paracels and Spratlys, however, lie well beyond the geological continental shelf, in the middle of a maritime zone which reaches a depth of over 1,000 metres close to the Paracels and around 3,000 metres north-east of the Spratlys.
The Fox and the Bear
By: L.A. Wilson

Set in the Dark Ages of Post-Roman Britain, The Silurian is the story of King Arthur told in a way that has never been done before. A first person narrative, spoken in grim and graphic detail of the life of Arthur by his closest friend and foster-brother, Prince Bedwyr The Fox. A boy of sixteen, taken to his first great conflict, Bedwyr begins his story on the battlefield where Arthur lies missing after having won his first engagement to war against the invading Saxons, Hengist and Horsa. This is the Fifth Century AD, a time of fierce honesty, as Bedwyr's own words speak it.
The Songs from Long Road
By Byron Scott

The Songs from Long Road is a loose mosaic of 34 songs and four chapters of prose that deals with the Hopi Indian legend of Pahana. The story assumes that Pahana is/was a real figure and attempts to place him in the historical context. As such, Long Road picks out important historical and religious events in Western, American and Mesoamerican history, adds in tales from American Indian mythology, and blends them into a narrative. With a blend of prose and poetry, The Songs from Long Road gives the reader a colorful and distinctly different viewpoint
